One Mob is a values-driven group supporting clients and crew across multiple entities. We’re looking for a dependable Accounts & Payroll Officer who loves getting the details right and enjoys being the calm, organised heartbeat of finance and payroll.

The opportunity
You’ll run end-to-end payroll and core AR/AP, keep our compliance spotless (STP, BAS/IAS, Super/LSL, Payroll Tax) and be a friendly, solutions-focused contact for employees, suppliers and clients. It’s a full-time, temporary role with a minimum 10-month contract and immediate commencement.

What you’ll do

Payroll (weekly): Process accurate payroll in MYOB AR (allowances/deductions, terminations, LSL, workers comp), STP submissions and ABA files for approval.

Accounts (AR/AP): Issue client invoices (with timesheets/PDF), process credits, maintain the AP register, and complete weekly/monthly bank recs.

Compliance & reporting: On-time Super/LSL, BAS/IAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax; support month-end and year-end; weekly AP “ready to pay” updates.

Systems & records: Keep MYOB AR, Excel and our CMS accurate and audit-ready; tidy digital filing and simple “how-to” notes for handover resilience.

Service mindset: Triage inbox and phone queries professionally; collaborate with operations, suppliers and clients to solve issues fast.

What you’ll bring

Hands-on MYOB AR experience (payroll + accounts) and strong Excel skills.

Working knowledge of STP, awards, BAS/IAS, PAYG/GST, Super/LSL and Payroll Tax.

A reputation for accuracy, confidentiality and clear, courteous communication.

Comfort juggling deadlines, with tidy documentation and follow-through.
