About the Role:

In this role you will be the master of your own section, deliver consistent and high-end quality dishes while supporting the Executive and Junior Sous Chefs. Bring your creativity and passion for food to the table!

Your duties will include:

Managing a Busy kitchen.

Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.

Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.

Supporting the Executive and Junior Sous Chefs in day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

Capability to organise requirements for across the restaurant, events and hotel service.

Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.

Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.

Assist with on-the-job training for new team members.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in culinary studies or related field.

Previous experience in similar role. (Preferably in Hotels)

Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.

Good understanding of MS Office and restaurant software programs.

Teamwork-oriented & Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
