The role

As a Chef De Partie, you’ll run your own section and bring consistency, energy and skill to every service. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen and wants to be part of a new chapter in the Melbourne dining scene.

What you’ll do:

Run your own section confidently during prep and service (pasta, grill, antipasti etc.)

Prep, cook and plate dishes to Studio Amaro standards with precision and care

Maintain mise en place, ready for fast-paced services

Uphold kitchen hygiene and food safety practices

Assist with stock control, rotation and minimising wastage

Support and train junior chefs and apprentices

Contribute ideas and creativity as menus evolve

What we’re looking for:

Previous CDP experience (or strong Demi Chef ready to step up)

Solid cooking techniques and knowledge of kitchen operations

Ability to handle a section independently under pressure

Organised, reliable and detail-oriented

Passion for Italian cuisine (experience a bonus, but not essential)

A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to grow
