We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Receivable Person to manage the company’s incoming payments and ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices collections and resolving discrepancies.

The Role:
In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering positive client relationships

Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5 pm, your tasks will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up with clients regarding overdue payments

Essential skills for this role are accuracy, attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency in accounting software, particularly MYOB. Record and apply credit memos, and adjustments in the accounting system

Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and payments

Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies

Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection efforts

Maintain accurate customer records and update billing information as needed

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting

Proficiency in MS Excel and Word

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively

Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

MYOB accounting software essential

Familiarity with electronic payment platforms and reconciliation essential
