Part-Time Opportunity - Brisbane Office

Position: Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist

Hours: 20 hours per week

Rate: $38 per hour

Location: Brisbane office-based role (not hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced and capable Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to join our small, supportive team at our privately owned business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage key financial operations across our business entities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and payable functions

Proactively chase outstanding debts and maintain payment schedules

Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions

Complete month-end reconciliations and meet strict deadlines

Maintain accurate financial records using ERP systems

Liaise with clients regarding payment matters

Provide analytical support and problem-solving for financial queries

What We're Looking For

Essential: Accounting or financial qualifications OR demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and payable

Strong debt collection skills with confidence in chasing overdue payments

High level of knowledge with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to prioritise workload and meet critical deadlines (e.g., month-end reconciliations)

Ability to work independently while being part of a small team

Professional communication skills for client interactions
