About the role

Join our dedicated team as a Pastry Chef at The Happy Bakers in Airport West, Victoria. This full-time role will see you creating exceptional pastries and desserts to delight our customers. What you'll be doing

Prepare and produce a wide variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts to our exacting standards

Ensure all products meet food safety and hygiene requirements

Assist with menu development and recipe innovation

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries

Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to deliver exceptional baked goods

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification in baking, patisserie, or a related culinary field

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef in a commercial kitchen environment

Exceptional attention to detail and presentation skills

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and creative skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
