TLH Recruitment is proudly representing one of Australia's largest Automotive Distributors, based in Mawson Lakes.

They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to lead the team!

If you are an experienced Team Leader looking to take the next step of your career or an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a change, this could be your next role.

In this busy hands on role, you will be responsible for supervising the team and working closely with the DC manager, to ensure all operations in the warehouse are carried out efficiently and effectively. You will oversee the accuracy of reporting, inventory/storage, in/out bounds goods and customer delivery/service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day to day operational activities providing coaching and training to the warehouse team.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Implement warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with staff inductions, training of new staff and provide ongoing support and guidance

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in a fast-paced DC/warehouse environment
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
• Forklift licence required
