About the role

Sanjah Punjab Indian & Pakistani Restaurant is seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our team in Blacktown, NSW. As a full-time Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian and Pakistani dishes according to recipes and established procedures

Ensure all dishes are prepared with the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation

Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assist with inventory management and menu planning as required

Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your culinary skills

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook in an Indian or Pakistani restaurant

Certificate III or IV in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification

Thorough understanding of authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine and cooking techniques

Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation

Strong time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Passion for delivering high-quality, flavorful dishes
