HEAD CHEF (FT) & JUNIOR COOK (PT)

Premium Italian Restaurant | Dinner Service Only | Long-Term Roles Available

Attimo is a modern, elevated Italian restaurant in Northbridge known for bold flavour, clean systems, and a moody, refined dining experience. We’re expanding our back-of-house team and currently hiring two key positions:

1. HEAD CHEF – FULL-TIME (45 HOURS/WEEK)

| Wednesday to Monday | Evenings Only

This is a hands-on leadership role for a reliable, experienced chef ready to take ownership of the kitchen. You’ll manage prep, lead service, and handle stock and team operations with support from ownership.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily prep and lead evening service

Manage ordering, stock control and wastage

Uphold consistency, cleanliness and plating standards

Supervise and train junior staff

You’ll Need:

Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (trade qualified)

At least 3 years in a Head or Sous Chef role

Strong prep, timing and leadership skills

Calm, efficient and solutions-focused

Role Details:

45 hours/week across 6 days (Tuesdays off)

2. JUNIOR COOK – PART-TIME

| Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights + Additional Shifts

We’re also hiring a reliable Part-Time Junior Cook to support the Head Chef during peak service. This is a stable award-compliant role with room to grow into our new daytime café operations next door.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with prep, basic cooking and plating

Follow direction and keep service running smoothly

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and speed

You’ll Need:

Experience in a commercial kitchen (no trade cert required)

Fast hands, great hygiene, and attention to detail

Availability Friday and Saturday nights (5pm–10pm)

Willingness to grow with our team and move into café shifts

Role Details:

Restaurant Industry Award

week across 2–4 evenings (Fri, Sat, Mon)

Additional daytime shifts available soon
