IT Technician Ready to Move into LegalTech Sales & Account Management

Are you an IT technician with a competitive streak, a love for people, and the drive to succeed?
Do you want to move off the tools and into a role where you can leverage your technical background in a sales-focused career?
We're a well-respected Managed Service Provider (MSP) with over 12 years of experience in the LegalTech space, supporting law firms and conveyancers across Australia.
We're looking for two outgoing, motivated individuals—one in QLD, one in VIC—to step into sales.
This is not a new role for us, but it may be a completely new career path for you.
You’ll go from being the most technically knowledgeable person in the room… to being the least knowledgeable in sales.
That’s okay, as we'll help you learn what you need to know to succeed if you have a growth mindset, are willing to learn, accept guidance, and put feedback into action.
What you bring is your IT background, your ability to explain complex ideas in plain English, and your drive to succeed.
About the Role
This is a sales role designed for IT professionals who are ready to learn sales from the ground up.
You'll work from home and out in the field visiting clients—there's no office, so you will need a quiet WFH space.
Travel will include regional areas in QLD or VIC to visit prospects.
Occasionally, you may travel interstate for exhibitions or Regional for client visits, sometimes for a few days at a time.
While your focus will be sales, you may occasionally provide basic technical assistance on-site as the "boots on the ground."
You'll follow the sales process end-to-end—from initial conversations through to proposals, CRM entries, and paperwork.
You'll work to budgets and targets—we reward those who take accountability seriously.
You'll use ACT! CRM to manage and track sales opportunities, and SyncroMSP to connect with our support team.
What We're Looking For
IT background (technician, support, or experienced technical sales background).
A strong, outgoing personality—you enjoy connecting with people.
Competitive drive—you love hitting goals and winning.
Ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.
Comfortable with both client-facing conversations and the administration/paperwork side of sales.
Previous customer-facing or retail experience (e.g. JB Hi-Fi, KFC, retail sales etc) will be highly valued.
Must be looking for a long-term commitment —we want to invest in your growth.
Must have a valid driver's license and unrestricted access to a car.
Must have valid working rights in Australia
Must be willing to undergo and pass a National Police Check

Base salary $75,000 plus super + uncapped commission paid monthly.
Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday morning every 6 weeks for company-wide training.
