About The Role:

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer plays a key role within our engineering team, contributing to projects at every stage from concept development through to production. This position is responsible for the mechanical design and implementation of new products and solutions, with a strong emphasis on product quality and comprehensive documentation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and structural analysis, possess strong attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to consistently deliver engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and implement components, assemblies, and systems for new products and automation solutions.

Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), technical reports, data sheets, product descriptions, and user manuals.

Provide technical support to customers as required.

Ensure all work complies with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and internal quality procedures.

Participate in on-site installation, commissioning, and testing activities as needed.

Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required to support project and business objectives.

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modelling (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Solid understanding of mechanical design principles with the ability to perform structural analysis (e.g., FEA).

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Competence in preparing detailed engineering documentation, procedural guides, and technical reports.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.

Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and workshop machinery.

Knowledge of motors, transmissions, and linear actuators (highly desirable).

Familiarity with mechatronics, 3D printing, CNC machines, robotics, or other high-tech engineering applications (highly desirable).

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience in robotics, embedded systems, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems (highly desirable).
