About the Role:
As an HSE Advisor, you will be a collaborative team player, passionate about promoting high safety standards and strengthening a positive safety culture. Based primarily in the Latrobe Valley, you may also be required to travel interstate to provide support across other projects as needed.

In this role, you will:

Coach, mentor and train site teams to drive proactive safety behaviours.

Support the implementation of our ISO-certified HSEQ management system.

Conduct field inspections, safety interactions and monitoring activities.

Undertake risk assessments for site-based activities.

Contribute to the review and development of work instructions and site-specific procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions.

Develop and deliver relevant HSE materials and communications, including educational resources, toolbox talks, safety statistics, and incident findings.

Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and data in line with reporting requirements and business standards.

About You

Drivers Licence

Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety

Lead ICAM training (Desirable)

Demonstrated experience in the construction or mining industry.

Sound knowledge of the OHS Act 2007 and the OHS Regulations 2017.

Microsoft 365 proficiency and attention to detail in record keeping.

Strong communication skills and ability to influence safe outcomes on-site.
