Job Summary

The Senior Advisor leads a small team in the Executive Office to support the division in advancing a high-performance culture by supporting the Price Monitoring and Regulation (PMaR) leadership team to collaboratively develop and report on annual operational plans and oversee a range of governance, risk and stakeholder management functions.

The Senior Advisor provides strategic advice and support to the Executive Director and works collaboratively across the division to deliver high quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Position details

The position is responsible for:

  • Supporting the PMaR leadership team to collaboratively develop and regularly report on, and deliver on, annual operational plans.
  • Coordinate the delivery of the work program across the division and adherence to commissions process requirements
  • Facilitate regular opportunities for whole of division communication, collaboration and development
  • Coordinate regular briefings from the PMaR leadership team as well as other executives from the commission to key external stakeholders, ensuring that agendas and written materials are delivered on time, and to a high standard.
  • Lead the Executive Director office team, foster teamwork and support and develop staff.
  • Undertake a range of governance, risk and compliance functions.

This is an ongoing position The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
