Our services include advocacy, education, partnerships, training, consultancy and holistic person-centred care programs, based on a philosophy of understanding the lived experiences of those living with dementia. We provide CHSP, HCP and NDIS packages and day/overnight respite in our four homes based in Perth, Mandurah and Albany. Position Summary: Alzheimer’s WA is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Marketing Officer to join our team full-time at our Subiaco head office. This role focuses on the implementation of our marketing plans to drive revenue growth and brand awareness for Alzheimer’s WA. The role has a focus on developing and implementing the marketing and communication plans in line with brand objectives.
Responsibilities:
Your duties will also include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the strategic development of Alzheimer’s WA and collaborate with the leadership team to foster a high-performing and engaged team culture.
- Craft compelling and shareable content for various platforms to boost brand visibility (i.e. website news articles, videos, and social media).
- Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and requirements.
- Ensure the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of Marketing team services for all internal and external customers.
- Maintain consistency and alignment of all marketing activities with the endorsed brand architecture and style guides.
- Manage operational activities within budget and plan, provide monthly reports, track statistics relevant to operational performance and revenue generation.
- Maintain and enhance AWA’s website, Facebook page, and social media content calendar to ensure useful, timely, and accurate information delivery.
- Coordinate quality control of organisation-wide documentation, in line with the company guide.
- Organise and manage events and ceremonies (i.e. book venues, schedule guests, finalise contracts, manage logistics, liaise with event management companies and stakeholders).
- Coordinate and prepare all media communications, including E-Newsletters, media releases, public notices, advertisements, and others as required.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications or equivalent (e.g. Degree) is preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing department, design/ad agency, or digital agency.
- Working knowledge and experience with social media, Microsoft 365 programs, Canva (mandatory) along with HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite and other design software (Mail Chimp).
- Experience with Event Management will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in successfully implementing brand and/or marketing campaigns across a range of communication channels
- Demonstrated experience in developing, measuring and interpreting brand and marketing metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
