About the role

The Legislation Officer and Senior Legislation Officer roles are a vital part of the Parliamentary Counsel’s Office (PCO) quality assurance processes for both the drafting and publication of legislation, ensuring that WA legislation is of the highest quality. You will use your editing and proofreading skills to quality assure draft legislation. You will also use your skills in internet publishing to assist in maintaining the WA legislation website by publishing new legislation and incorporating amendments into existing legislation. The Senior Legislation Officer role will also assist the Manager, Legislation and Publications in ensuring the efficient supervision of the editorial and publishing team.
