About the role

This Bookkeeper role at Grow Accounting offers the perfect opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional to join a dynamic and growing accounting practice. In this position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of small business clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining and reconciling general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management for clients

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and statements

Processing payroll, superannuation and employee entitlements

Assisting with the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Providing excellent customer service and acting as the primary point of contact for client queries

Collaborating with the accounting team to identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within a public accounting practice or small business environment that looks after multiple entities/structures and different clients

Strong proficiency in Xero is a requirement and experience in accounting software MYOB and/or QuickBooks is preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping

Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients

Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Xero add-ins such as Stripe, Various stock management etc. would be highly regarded.
