Diablo Co is seeking a highly skilled and methodical Bookkeeper with extensive experience in managing end-to-end financial operations. This role requires a disciplined, process-driven professional who delivers precision, timeliness, and thorough follow-through across all accounting functions.

The successful candidate will be detail-obsessed, exceptionally organised, and focused on executing financial tasks with unwavering accuracy and consistency.

Location: Diablo Co HQ - 1305 Mary Valley Rd, Gilldora
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:30am – 4:00pm (with 30-minute lunch break) — 24 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $35 – $45 per hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Permanent part-time

Key Responsibilities:

Complete management of accounts payable, including data entry, payment scheduling, and supplier reconciliations

Weekly bank reconciliations with detailed transaction verification

Accounts receivable processing, payment application, debtor management, and proactive follow-up

Payroll processing, superannuation administration, and compliance with Fair Work regulations

Preparation and submission of BAS and Activity Statements

Ongoing review and reconciliation of accounts to maintain data integrity and accuracy

Implementation and maintenance of robust financial control processes

Full administration of insurance policies, renewals, claims, and related documentation

Workers’ compensation policy management and claims handling

Management of statutory obligations related to payroll, tax, superannuation, and insurance

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in senior accounting or finance administration roles

Advanced proficiency with Xero accounting software

Thorough understanding of payroll, tax compliance, superannuation, and reporting requirements

Highly organised, methodical, and task-oriented work style

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with full accountability and reliability

Professional integrity with a relentless focus on accuracy and task completion

Salesforce experience advantageous

Understanding of the alcohol industry advantageous but not essential
