Senior Tax Manager – Strategic & Advisory Role

Are you a commercially-minded tax professional looking to apply your expertise in a senior-level advisory role? Our client, a prominent player in the property and investment space, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to help shape tax strategy, support complex transactions, and guide decision-makers across the business.
You’ll work alongside senior stakeholders, legal, finance and investment teams, and industry bodies, influencing both day-to-day decisions and long-term initiatives.

What you’ll do:
As a key member of the tax team, reporting directly to the Head of Tax, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality tax advice on major transactions and operational matters
• Managing relationships with external advisors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
• Providing input on proposed legislation and participating in industry consultations
• Coordinating external service providers on tax filing and lodgement obligations
• Supporting business continuity, tax forecasting, and transformation initiatives
• Driving continuous improvement in processes, systems, and internal knowledge sharing

About you:
To thrive in this role, you’ll combine technical excellence with strong commercial acumen and collaborative energy. You’ll also bring:

• 8+ years’ experience in corporate tax, ideally with trust structures and transaction exposure
• CA, CPA or post-grad tax law qualification
• Experience in property, investment management or financial services (preferred)
• Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences
• A proactive mindset with a knack for navigating ambiguity and making strategic decisions
• A team-first approach, contributing to collective success while driving individual outcomes
