About the Role

We’re seeking a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager to join our client’s growing infrastructure team in Sydney, leading large-scale water utilities projects from start to finish.

This is a full-time role focused on delivery excellence and stakeholder coordination within the civil water sector. Candidates with experience in Sydney Water projects are highly regarded, though not essential.

You will be responsible for driving construction delivery, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring technical and safety standards are upheld across site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects

Manage construction teams, subcontractors, schedules, and cost control

Interface with clients, consultants, and utility authorities including Sydney Water

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental obligations

Lead stakeholder communication and change management throughout the project lifecycle

Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and report regularly on project performance

Requirements

6–8+ years of project management experience in water utilities or civil infrastructure

Proven experience delivering large-scale water infrastructure projects

Sydney Water project experience is highly regarded but not essential

Strong leadership, budget management, and stakeholder communication skills

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
