What You’ll Be Doing
Working closely with our accounting team, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of administrative and client service tasks, including:
Scheduling jobs and managing workflow in FYI to ensure accountants have a steady stream of work delivered on schedule
Acting as a central liaison with clients to gather required information and documents, respond to queries, and build strong relationships
Maintaining and updating client information in FYI
Raising invoices and managing month-end billing
Handling ATO-related tasks, including mail, lodgements, ELD management, payment arrangements, and monitoring the team’s tax lodgement program
Lodging client tax returns
collating year-end client documents
Scheduling and booking internal and external meetings
General office administration including scanning, filing, and archiving
What We’re Looking For
The successful applicant will bring:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Client Services Administrator in a tax accounting practice
Strong knowledge across all aspects of the role, including ATO and ASIC requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong IT Skills with proven track record of working in a paperless office and utilising technology to gain efficiency in your role
Strong time management with the ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
A process-driven, meticulous approach with high attention to detail
The ability to work collaboratively in a professional team
A positive attitude, professional presentation, and commitment to providing quality client service
High integrity and regard for confidentiality
Familiarity with FYI would be very favorably considered. Experience with Xero/XPM also beneficial.
