About the role

As the Sales Manager at Brain Industries, you will have proven industrial sales success and lead the Brain team in driving the company's growth and expansion across NSW. This full-time management role, based in Newcastle, NSW, is responsible for building on Brain's current success, developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand Brain's market presence and secure new business opportunities. The role works hand in hand with senior managers - Managing Director, Operations, Finance, Marketing.

What you'll be doing

Bring existing contacts in mining - coal and hardrock, tunnelling and/or oil & gas, preferably working directly with mines and also working with OEMs.

Understand Brain's products and product application for the customer.

Build relationships with mining and industrial companies.

Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets

Identify existing and new products that offer the best profit margins for the Company.

Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets and drive revenue/profit growth

Build strong relationships with key existing clients and partners to secure new business.

Monitor market trends directly with customers and competitor activity to identify opportunities for Brain, particularly for new products.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional campaigns

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in sales management, within the mining, industrial or manufacturing sectors

Someone comfortable with travel and frequently doing sales visits to customers throughout NSW

Proven track record of exceeding ambitious targets

Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and skills

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies

Demonstrated ability to identify the industrial product needs of clients and work with a team to offer commercial ideas and products.
