What's on Offer:

$85K - $90K salary + great team culture

Start date: Immediate

Work alongside this highly regarded Head Chef, supporting both functions and a la carte service

A strong core brigade of 4-5 chefs, scaling up to 8-10 during peak season

Two purpose-built kitchens - one dedicated to a la carte, one fully equipped for large-scale functions

A diverse role with scope to contribute to menu development

About the Role:

As Sous Chef, you'll primarily oversee the functions kitchen but also step seamlessly into a la carte service during quieter event periods. Functions range from 150-300 seated guests plus canapés and cocktail-style events, so we're seeking a chef with strong banquet and high-volume experience.

This is a hands-on role where you'll need:

Energy and adaptability - the venue is spread out, with stairs and multiple service points

Strong knowledge of local suppliers

Competence in ordering, stock management, and kitchen operations

A collaborative mindset - executing mind-blowing menus while bringing your own creativity to the table

About You:

Solid functions/banquet background with high-volume experience

Ability to thrive in both structured and fast-changing environments

Proven leadership and organisational skills

A passion for delivering exceptional food and experiences
