Administration Officer - Finance
Employment Status: Casual Part Time - Opportunity for Permanency
Location: Albany Creek
Remuneration: $43.00 - $ 47.16 p/hr + 12% Super + QLeave + Leave loading
Our Neighbourhood Administration Officer is a key support role to the delivery of our Community Family Support Programs and Therapeutic Services. As an Administration Officer you you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring administration and financial business operations are running efficiently. Supporting the Business Manager includes general administration management, data entry, invoicing, payroll, finance and personal assistant duties.
About the role:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the Business Manager in day-to-day administration and business management tasks.
Proficiency in the use of Xero for payroll, reconciliation and invoicing.
Work with budgets and financial management databases.
Efficiently organise appointments, diaries, travel and meeting/workshop preparatory arrangements.
Monitor, order and distribute office supplies and arrange for the maintenance/repair of office equipment.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of information in financial, human resource systems and databases.
Work closely with the Business Manager, General Manager & Human Resources officer as administrative support where needed.
Use mainstream software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
Assist senior staff with special projects as required

Role requirements:
You will have effective verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in finance, and must be able to use XERO
Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload
Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications
Confidence with smartphones and digital devices, or willingness to learn
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads with a can-do attitude
Willingness to expand your knowledge and skills within the role.
