Job Opportunity: Project Manager

Remuneration: $125,000 – $165,000 + Super + Car + Laptop + Phone (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time (6-day week as required)

The Role: Project Manager
We're seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to support both the estimating and project delivery teams. This is a diverse and hands-on role that will see you involved in the full project lifecycle – from tender to delivery – across a variety of commercial demolition, construction, and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
Attend site inspections and support project estimation and delivery phases.
Collaborate with estimators on complex tenders and submissions, including quotations.
Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement, pricing negotiation, and contract awards.
Assist in preparing project-specific methodologies and compliance documentation.
Support contract administration, including variations, progress claims, and RFIs.
Coordinate and participate in project mobilisation, pre-starts, and subcontractor meetings.
Perform document control duties and manage project cost reports and forecasting.
Liaise with site teams to resolve on-site challenges and ensure project alignment.
Support HSEQ processes, including site safety walks and documentation submissions.
Travel within regional QLD, Northern NSW, or interstate may be required.
Attend occasional networking and team-building events.
Key Criteria
7+ years’ experience in commercial fit-out, construction, or related subcontracting roles.
Strong knowledge of demolition processes or procurement (head contractor/subcontractor level).
Broad exposure to estimating, project management, and contracts administration.
Confident interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Proficient or willing to learn tools like Cubit, CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, Aconex, EstimateOne.
Willingness to travel as required and commit to occasional out-of-hours work.
Previous experience in asset repositioning projects (advantageous).
Self-motivated, problem solver, team player, and committed to long-term career development.
Proven track record of successful project delivery from start to finish.
