About the role

BSN Home Maintenance and Construction is seeking a full-time Trade Assistant - Carpentry - Maintenance to join our team in Busselton, Western Australia. In this role, you will provide essential support to our skilled tradespeople, assisting with a variety of maintenance and construction tasks across residential properties for department of houseing in the southwest.

What you'll be doing

Providing skilled hands-on support to carpenters, handypersons and other tradespeople

Preparing and setting up work sites, including loading/unloading equipment and materials

Performing basic carpentry and maintenance duties such as External door, frames, trims, basic fixtures and also complete renovation works

Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment by following all health and safety protocols

Maintaining tools and equipment to a great standard

Assisting with the completion of job reports and other administrative tasks

Delivering friendly customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a capenter trade assistant or in a similar maintenance capentry support role

Basic to advanced skills in carpentry, plastering, tiling or all round handyman skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to work

Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle

A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
