Carpenter | Trade Assistant - DIDO

SkillHire currently has an opening for a qualified carpenter or experienced trade assistant with a background in carpentry to work with a client based at a mine-site, south of Perth.

• DIDO (Drive in Monday morning and Drive out Thursday evening, weekly)
• 10 hour days with day shift only
• Meals and accommodation provided
• Ongoing position

Duties and responsibilities may include: Building fit outs/dongas, renovations of camp facilities, extensions and small commercial work. Door and furniture fittings, repairs of faulty/damaged goods and basic concreting.

To be considered:

• Australian Trade Certificate in Carpentry - desired but not mandatory
• Previous experience in a construction/residential setting
• Australian Drivers Licence (C class minimum)
• Reliable transport
• Construction Card (White Card)
• Ability to complete online inductions
• Be able to supply your own PPE (hi-vis shirts, pants, boots) and basic tools.
