About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Trades Assistant to join the team at Able Trailers' in Balcatta, WA. As a Trades Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled tradespeople in the manufacturing and maintenance of high-quality trailers and associated equipment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting tradespeople with the assembly, repair and maintenance of trailers

Unloading containers and organising our yard

Performing general labouring duties such as loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment

Cleaning and maintaining the workshop, tools and equipment

LF Forklift ticket is essential.

Following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Some experience in a similar labouring or trades assistant role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry

Good problem-solving and practical skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

A strong commitment to workplace safety and a willingness to learn

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A valid driver's licence (manual is preferred) and your own reliable transportation
