About The Role:
The Processing & Internal Sales Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing daily order processing and inbound sales enquiries; ensuring smooth workflows, efficient processes, and effective communication across all departments. This role ensures consistency of information flow from the point of sale through to delivery, with particular focus on translation of business critical information between our CRM, operations and project management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Manage the entire order process from order entry to billing, identifying inconsistencies and issues before they occur
Customer Management: Handle inbound inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent product advice and support to customers
Problem-Solving: Resolve issues such as delayed deliveries, incorrect orders, and customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tasks, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in our CRM system
Reporting: Regular sales, inventory and projects reporting, using data to monitor key performance indicators KPIs
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers through excellent service and regular communication.
About You:
Required Skills & Experience:
5 years experience in a similar position (required)
Proficiency with SAP B1 and Hubspot (or similar accounting/CRM packages)
Excellent attention to detail & critical thinking skills
Proactive, customer-focused attitude
Strong communication & problem-solving capabilities
Exceptional time management & organizational skills
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment, and embrace new skills & training
