Doubleview Podiatry is a well-established and thriving podiatry clinic located just a short drive from the beautiful Scarborough Beach. We are committed to providing our patients with the best possible experience, and we are currently seeking a professional, caring, and motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist.
Position: Podiatry Receptionist
Location: Doubleview, Western Australia
Hours: Full time through October and then into part time role, preferably Mon-Tues with optional further days to expand into.
Role & Responsibilities:
As a Podiatry Receptionist at Doubleview Podiatry, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your role will involve a variety of duties aimed at ensuring a smooth operation of the clinic and a positive patient experience.
This will include:
- Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Managing appointment bookings and maintaining the clinic’s schedule
- Answering phone calls, handling enquiries and providing information
- Operating Practice Management Software
- Processing Medicare, NDIS, DVA, Private Health Insurance claims
- Managing patient records and referral requirements (EPC Program)
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
- Responsible for the sterilisation of medical equipment and coding
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic, including clinical cleaning duties
About You:
We are looking for an individual who is:
Caring and interactive: You will be someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with patients and providing exceptional service.
Organised and efficient: You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
A multitasker: You will be comfortable managing a variety of tasks simultaneously, from interacting with patients to operating our phone system and handling admin duties.
Communicative: Clear communication is essential, both with patients and our clinical team, to ensure the best possible care and smooth operation of the clinic.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a medical or allied health clinic is preferred, but we are also open to applicants with experience in other customer-facing or administrative roles
Familiarity with Practice Management Software
Experience with HICAPS and EFTPOS terminal operations
Knowledge of the EPC program, NDIS, DVA, Medicare, and Private Health Insurance billing will be advantageous
