We’re seeking a proactive and community minded Office Manager to take charge of our day-to-day operations and help shape the future of our organisation. This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week with flexibility offered as needed between Monday to Saturday. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily office operations including supplies, systems, and general upkeep
Provide admin support to staff and volunteers (scheduling, correspondence, coordination)
Manage financial tasks such as expenses, petty cash, invoicing, purchasing, and budget tracking
Support recruitment, onboarding, Centrelink coordination, student placements, and volunteers
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation
Contribute to internal projects, fundraising, and community events
Act as a central point of contact for staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders
Promote clear, respectful, and effective communication across the organisation
Qualifications and Requirements
Background in business administration or management (degree or equivalent experience)
Experience in office or team leadership, ideally in a not-for-profit or community environment
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Knowledge of budgeting, finance, and bookkeeping
Familiarity with compliance, reporting, and volunteer coordination
Ability to motivate and lead staff and volunteers
Interest in history, cultural preservation, or community development
