This position offers a fabulous opportunity to join a leading technology company who provide a globally renowned practice management software to their clients across Australia and internally. Established 30+ years and well recognised as a market leader, the organisation has experienced rapid growth and success as they continue to launch new verticals in their dynamic field.

This newly created position joins a specialist Dev Team of 3 and has the support and infrastructure of the broader Engineering function. The role entails a blend of bug fixes/product maintenance and pushing new ideas and innovations with a 50/50 split Frontend/Backend.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Taking ownership of the planning, design, implementation and support of applications
• Working closely with Directors and Managers to understand product requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
• Identifying technical challenges and devising innovative solutions to overcome them
• Designing and developing high-quality responsive UI using Angular and other web frameworks
• Improving the architecture of front-end components, optimising code for performance, scalability and maintainability
• Working closely with UX Designers
• Participating in agile methodologies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives

To be considered for this top opportunity you will bring:

• 3 + years experience of commercial experience in full-stack web development
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including Angular
• A solid understanding and development experience with back-end technologies (C#/.NET + AWS)
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Experience consuming external API's
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience working with sensitive client data

To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator with a collaborative spirit who is ready to work closely with back-end developers, designers and other stakeholders. You will have the ability to think outside the box and be flexible and adaptive to work in a rapidly changing environment, that is, you can pivot quickly based on feedback and evolving project requirements. Additionally, the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts (both verbally and documented) to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise is paramount.
