The Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role at the centre of their trading systems. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance connections to global trading venues.

Key responsibilities include:

Build and maintain low-latency connectivity to trading venues, including both order gateways and market data feeds.

Coordinate with FIX brokers to manage projects from inception to delivery.

Lead and support exchange upgrade initiatives.

Monitor and analyse exchange-facing components, identifying and implementing optimisations for improved trading outcomes.

Work flexibly across real-time incident resolution and long-term development projects.

Conduct performance tuning to maximise throughput and minimise latency.

Requirements:

Strong programming skills in Java or C++

Proficiency in Python

Prior experience in a high-frequency trading environment

Minimum 2-3 years of high-frequency trading experience required

Experience with both Windows and Linux systems

Solid understanding of network protocols

Familiarity with protocols such as ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, J-GATE, OMNET, FIX.

Must have Australian work rights
