expertech is currently recruiting for Senior Full stack engineer to work on scoping, designing and implementing new big solutions as well working on improving existing features. At the start, this role will have more of a focus around the design of solutions and over time, ideally this role would grow into a Tech Lead position, mentoring other developers.

The role:

• Designing and building new features and implementing improvements of the existing platform
• Writing clean and secure backend with NodeJS and Nest
• Developing beautiful front-end solutions using Vue.Js and Nuxt
• Developing external and internal APIs using RestFul
• Database Management, SQL, NoSQL
• Cloud work with GCP, or AWS, Azure

Responsibilities:

• Coding solutions from start to finish, including design, documentation, coding, deployment and testing
• Lead the software development and deployment process
• Constantly communicate activities, priorities, roadblocks across product and operations teams
• Share knowledge with others team members and stakeholders

Skills and experience:

• System Design
• TypeScript
• Node and ideally Nest
• Front end Frameworks, ideally Vue with Nuxt, React could work
• Demonstrated expertise with databases (Postgres and MySQL)
• Cloud, ideally GCP, but could be Azure or AWS
• Enthusiasm for growing into Tech lead
• Working in start-ups would be beneficial
