Your new role

As a Salesforce Engineer, you'll play a key role in enhancing and configuring the Salesforce platform, working closely with a Senior Engineer and cross-functional teams. You'll be responsible for designing technical and functional solutions, integrating Salesforce with other systems, and contributing to release management through CI/CD pipelines. Your day-to-day will include developing workflows, managing sandbox environments, supporting incident investigations, and assisting users with reporting and data uploads. This is a hands-on role that blends technical delivery with stakeholder engagement across a Financial Services Organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll bring a background in software engineering, or a related discipline, along with 3-5 years of experience working with Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud. You'll be confident writing solution design documents and implementing features using Apex, Lightning, Flow, and LWC. Familiarity with Bitbucket, SFDX, and SaaS frameworks is essential, and exposure to capital markets or corporate advisory environments will be highly regarded. Certifications in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Platform Development are a strong advantage. You'll be a natural collaborator, able to work independently or guide others, and comfortable partnering with both business and infrastructure teams to deliver outcomes within a risk-aware framework.
