Supervisor - Full Time

The Position:

An immediate vacancy exists for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a dedicated cleaning team at a premier university site in Waurn Ponds, Geelong. This landmark facility offers an outstanding work environment and is conveniently located. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join a supportive, growing team in a secure and long-term role.

Location: Waurn Ponds

Shift Hours: 2:00am – 10:00am – Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

§ Supervise and motivate a team of cleaners to achieve high cleaning standards

§ Monitor staff sign-ins, attendance, and daily task allocation

§ Conduct regular inspections and implement service improvements

§ Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support for new staff

§ Liaise daily with the Site Manager or Campus Services Administrator to ensure service delivery

§ Report equipment faults, or security concerns promptly

§ Restock supplies and manage chemicals/equipment in line with OH&S requirements

§ Step in to perform cleaning duties and manage rostering during staff absences

§ Maintain clear communication with staff and clients via company systems

§ Communicate through company app and intranet with staff and client

Who We’re Looking For:

§ Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a commercial cleaning Supervisor

§ Professional presentation and excellent communication skills

§ Strong leadership and team-building ability

§ Commitment to high cleaning and safety standards

§ Proven ability to motivate and support staff

§ Current Police Clearance

§ Current Working with Children’s Check

§ Full work rights in Australia
