The Space

The exotic greenery throughout Bang Bang’s indoor space flows to a relaxed outdoor courtyard looking over the local park. The redbrick building is bigger than it appears, 300 covers make for a busy, dynamic dining environment. The venue lends itself to indoor/outdoor areas spread across our 6 various sections of offering for dining and or drinks.

In winter we are cosy and inviting, in summer we open the doors and work in the sunshine. Our days involve engaging with the surrounding community as Bang Bang is a laid-back social hotspot with a bustling inner-city vibe.

Currently our menu is influenced by Thai, Vietnamese, and other Southeast Asian cuisines with a French influence, We are a food led business with a fun and approachable offer.

The Venue & The People

We are easily accessible by train or tram, located only a one-minute walk from Elsternwick Station. Free street parking is also available. When you get here you will be met by a small but welcoming team. A group of people who are hardworking, generous with their time, knowledge, and interested to hear what you want and how to help you get there.

Staff supervision, rostering, functions, quality and service, Stock control and ordering training, Culture and Performance, financial management, Management and Compliance for front of House operations.

Who you are

Youve had over 2 years in this similar positions

Strong management and understanding of food, wine and beverages

Understanding of systems and platforms to work/report and forecast, knowledge of Lightspeed is an advantage

Energic, positive and quick thinking especially under pressure during busy shifts

Strong in customer service and interactions with guests

Available to work nights and weekends

Team player

Experience in training and up selling

Experience in Bar, Floor and functions

Experience is key!
