The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Clinical Trials billing and a strong understanding of financial processes in a healthcare or research setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile trial-related payments and sponsor invoices

Track and report on trial budgets and milestones

Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

Lodge BAS every quarter and prepare annual accounts for the external accountants

Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance

Liaise with Clinical Trials Coordinators and Sponsors regarding billing queries

Manage payroll and general bookkeeping duties

About You

You’re a reliable and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and ideally have experience in clinical trial finance.

Essential Criteria:

Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum 5 years)

Familiarity with healthcare finance or clinical trial billing

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and time management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

Experience working in a medical or research organisation
