Great opportunity for Accounts Receivable Officer to work with our client in the Federal Government space.

• Anticipated duration - 12-month contract role
• Sydney CBD based
• 50% flexible working
• $48 per hour + Super

About the role:

As an Accounts Receivable officer, you will be responsible for key areas across Accounts Receivables including but not limited to:

• Levy and other revenue billing management and collections
• Generating invoices and account statements
• Performing account reconciliations
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
• Annual testing of the billing engine and issues that may arise
• Compliance reviews across Accounts Payable (AP) and management of relevant controls and processes including:
• Fortnightly AP payment runs compliance checks
• Quarterly AP and Procurement compliance reviews and breach reporting
• Assisting in ad-hoc financial management, requests, and analysis
• Liaise with and assist the ANAO in relation to the annual external audit
• Fiscal management of APRA’s activities and the safeguarding of assets in accordance with legislation.

Desirable but not essential knowledge / experience

• Knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems (Oracle - Accounts Receivable, Billing engine and Accounts Payable).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to levies and compliance matters
• Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting.

Casual Loading
