The Opportunity

Then this role is the opportunity you've been waiting for. International Premier Events is searching for an exceptional Event Manager to join our dynamic team!

Reporting to the General Manager - Commercial & Events, you will play a pivotal role in planning, execution, and delivery of corporate hospitality programs at some of Australia's most iconic events; including the F1 Australian Grand Prix, State of Origin series and Melbourne Cup Carnival.

You’ll lead with creativity, precision, and passion — ensuring every detail is taken care of and an experience for our guests that is second to none .

What You'll Do

In conjunction with the other members of the events team, your responsibilities will include:

End-to-end event management: pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up

Coordinate with venues, caterers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery

Work with caterers to develop bespoke food & beverage offerings

Innovate – bring fresh ideas to enhance the client and guest experience

Design and execute branding/styling plans for event spaces

Liaise with sporting bodies, stadiums & concert promoters on accreditation & ticketing for events

Develop and distribute event communications to clients

Manage budgets, timelines, and event reporting

Assist in maintaining IPE social media accounts and websites

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be a high performer who has:

A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

A tertiary qualification in event management, marketing, hospitality or a related field (highly regarded)

A passion for sports, music, and live entertainment

Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail

Strong proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and travel throughout Australia to attend events

You will set yourself apart from other candidates if you can demonstrate any or all of the following:

Proficiency with graphic design programs (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva)

Experience updating websites (including SEO optimisation)

Skilled at creating and posting social media content (and understanding of the Meta Business Suite)
