Now, they’re looking for a Practice Manager to work closely with the Directors and legal team in Melbourne to help streamline operations, manage the firm’s financials, and ensure ongoing compliance with trust, regulatory, and professional obligations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has strong business acumen, and wants to have a hands-on impact across the entire firm.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial management, including billing, P&L, budgets, payroll, and reporting
- Ensure trust account compliance and alignment with professional and regulatory standards
- Manage and enhance practice management systems and IT infrastructure
- Support Directors in strategic planning, HR, and performance tracking
- Coordinate vendors, contracts, and external advisers
- Maintain efficient day-to-day operations across legal and admin functions
What you bring:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in legal practice management or professional services operations
- Strong grounding in finance and/or accounting – formal qualifications a bonus
- Excellent systems knowledge (practice management software, trust accounting systems, reporting tools)
- A proactive, hands-on approach – able to see the big picture and get into the detail
- Confidence working directly with firm leaders and influencing positive change
