About the Organisation:
Our client is a specialist Vascular and Endovascular surgeon located in Malvern. Currently seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Secretary with Genie software experience and proficiency providing outstanding patient care. Well-developed people skills are imperative for this position.

About the Role:

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Manage the appointment schedule (Genie Medical software) for consulting - review and new referrals, outpatient venous procedures as well as surgery
• Schedule and coordinate operative lists: Theatre, Anaesthetist, Assistant
• Be the friendly and personable ‘front’ of the practice – on the phone and in person
• Manage email and all correspondence
• Process payments for consulting sessions using Genie software.

About You

• Excellent knowledge of the Genie medical practice software (Essential)
• Computer – strong knowledge of Word.
• Experience working for a Specialist Surgeon
• Friendly, personable demeanor.
• Able to work in a shared office environment.
• Strong multitasking and organisational skills

**Please note the successful candidate will need to have Genie medical software experience**

This is a temporary medical secretary position that is to commence on Friday 29th August with a potential temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. The hourly rate for this temp position is between $36 - $44 per hour + super depending on experience.
