The Customer Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the National Key Accounts Manager and maintaining strong relationships with our major customers. This position focuses on providing seamless administrative, sales, and operational support to ensure outstanding service delivery.
By coordinating orders, managing contracts and special pricing agreements, and liaising with internal teams, the role helps drive customer satisfaction and business growth. The Coordinator also assists with forecasting, reporting, and procurement processes, contributing to efficient account management and strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and sales support to the National Key Accounts Manager and wider sales team.
Act as a first point of contact for key customers, ensuring prompt, professional responses to inquiries.
Manage customer communications via phone and email, escalating issues where required.
Provide pricing, product, and availability information to customers and sales teams.
Process and track orders (including export orders), generate picking slips, and prepare proforma invoices.
Maintain accurate records of key accounts, contracts, and pricing agreements.
Support procurement activities, tender submissions, and contract management.
Coordinate with logistics, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Monitor stock levels, assist with stocktaking, and provide demand forecasts for key accounts.
Prepare and analyse sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company procedures regarding safety, quality, and customer service standards.
Experience and Skills
Previous experience in sales support, account coordination, or customer service.
Proficiency in MYOB or similar ERP/CRM systems.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyse sales data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
