The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to provide advice on taxation and superannuation, manage client engagements, and support a high-performing team. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ideal for a proactive professional in a dynamic accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide taxation and superannuation advice to partners, staff, and clients as requested
• Conduct research and prepare technical advice, ensuring appropriate use of external specialist resources.
• Prepare client-facing advice, newsletters, and communications.
• Organise and deliver internal and external seminars, discussions, and staff training sessions.
• Oversee regular superannuation team meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
• Manage staff training on technical updates, including BGL Simple Fund software, and ensure team compliance.
• Maintain and update internal processes, standard letters, checklists, and accounting procedures.
• Report key outcomes and updates to partners, Practice Manager, and IT Manager.

About You

• CA/CPA qualified with strong expertise in taxation and superannuation.
• Proven experience in a professional services environment with staff leadership or mentoring.
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Effective communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly to staff and clients.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement of processes and team capability.

What’s on Offer This opportunity is full-time, open to part-time and permanent, offering a competitive salary up to $180k package FTE, including car parking, depending on experience.
