Our client, a commercial fit out and refurb builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver high-profile fit-out projects across Melbourne. Known for their expertise in commercial fit-outs and refurbishments in the hospitality, workplace and retail industry, this builder has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across Victoria and New South Wales valued up to $60m.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, the Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of this prestigious site, ensuring its successful delivery on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination of trades, direct labour, and materials.
• Act as the point of contact between Engineers, Senior Management, and Architects.
• Proactively address on-site challenges while maintaining strict Health & Safety standards.
• Ensure the project is delivered to the highest quality while achieving time and budget goals.

Requirements for the Role:

• At least 10 years’ experience as a Site Manager with a principal contractor.
• High end hospitality fit out experience is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $5m or more.
• Expertise in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Construction-related tertiary qualification.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively lead a team and collaborate with all project stakeholders.
