We are experts in environmental planning, property and project management delivery to the telecommunications sector. As our business has grown, we are seeking a Property and Project Coordinator to support the Directors and the team to deliver quality and strategic acquisition solutions to our clients.
Based in Elsternwick and working flexibly across a hybrid model of 4-5 days in an intimate team environment, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business and coordinating all client projects and managing all administrative needs.
This self starter person will be used to dealing with multiple clients on multiple projects and will see you responsible for:
· Providing day to day project assistance principally to the Property Director
· Coordinating and administering all client projects including setting up of reports, folders, project scheduling, forecasting and collating of information
· Establishing and maintaining databases and filing systems of incoming correspondence
· Online desktop research relating to land particulars (title searches, location identifiers, mapping, environmental and planning controls)
· Undertaking title searches and identifying any potential issues
· Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulation and policies with Commonwealth, State and Territory Legislation and Industry Codes
· Develop an ability to provide property advice through research
· Draft and Issue appropriate Terms or Agreements with property owners
· Develop and practice a high level understanding of commercial lease/licence/tenure negotiation techniques
· Prepare standard briefs to solicitors and effectively engage and manage the process to ensure legal tenure is formalised
· Communication with clients, landowners, and third-party consultants and providers
· Co ordinating site access and site handover documentation
· Coordinating and lodging Colocation and Cosite applications and managing the appropriate timing of these
· Maintain a good knowledge of the health and safety issues and risks associated with telecommunications and effectively manage correspondence to the community and lessors as required
· Liaise with all team members to ensure successful delivery and implementation
· Attending site visits when required
Experience and Qualifications
You will draw on your experience from working in property, legal, telecommunications, engineering or infrastructure industries. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to multitask, You have strong attention to detail, exceptional communication & organisational skills and an ability to be flexible and adaptable in a busy environment. You will also have a best practice and continual improvement mind set.
You will have a driver’s licence and a strong knowledge of local and regional geography. You will be comfortable using mapping tools and reading technical designs. Your MS Office skills will be advanced and you’ll have experience undertaking desktop research relating to property, titles and land. An REIV agents’ representative certificate or Property Services Degree will be looked on favourably.
