About Us:
We’re a group of 24 independently-owned hotels/pubs located across the city of Melbourne and vibrant regions in Victoria and Queensland. With over a decade of continuous growth, we've built a strong foundation. Now, we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help take us to the next level.
The Role:
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will lead our strategic efforts to grow our share in the competitive pub and hospitality market. You’ll be the driving force behind identifying opportunities, analysing competitor activity, and creating marketing strategies that align with our business goals and market trends. You’ll work with a decentralised team and your role will involve both strategy development and hands-on operational marketing.
You’ll be managing a network of 24 pubs, focusing on food and beverage, entertainment, retail, gaming, and more, with a strong emphasis on boosting brand awareness and customer engagement. It’s vital to understand the local market dynamics, ensure you’re always ahead of trends, and invest wisely to get the best returns for our pubs.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic marketing plans across hotels, to increase growth and brand recognition. Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and leverage data to inform strategy and activations.
Digital Transformation: Play a key role in the full website redevelopment and implementation of branded structures, focusing on hyper-local SEO and Google My Business. Support the integration of AI processes and a centralised GA4 system to gain actionable insights from customer feedback and digital analytics.
Customer Engagement & Loyalty: Drive and support a new application-based loyalty program to cultivate repeat business and maximise the impact of venue relaunches.
Local Market Activation: Manage a range of marketing initiatives and on-premise activations, ensuring they resonate with local communities and align with our annual marketing calendar. Collaborate closely with hotel managers, owners, and key stakeholders creating tailored approaches for each venue's unique audience.
Operational Execution: Oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives focused on food and beverage, entertainment, retail, and gaming
About You:
Strong experience in marketing, ideally within the hospitality or pub industry, with a clear understanding of what works in this space.
A strategist at heart, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities for growth in a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with managers and owners who value autonomy while still achieving cohesive marketing efforts.
Proven track record in competitor analysis and using data to inform strategy and activations.
Ability to balance creative and operational thinking.
Loyalty programs experience.
Be practical and makes things happen in venue.
Strong work ethic.
Strong background in food and beverage, gaming, retail and hospitality markets is highly desirable.
A hands-on leader, comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
