We’re a tight-knit construction business helping Australia’s builders and tradies get steel staircases and balustrades that are Simple to Order, Delivered Fast, and Easy to Install.
As we scale up our Trade and Builder customer segment, we’re seeking a proactive, hunter-style Internal Sales Rep who’s eager to find and convert new customers. This role is ideal for someone who loves talking to people, thrives on outbound activity, and is excited to be a key part of a fast-moving, high-integrity team.
Why This Role Exists
This role exists to build a strong pipeline of Trade and Builder customers, deepen relationships, and ultimately double the revenue in this key segment. The position follows a phased approach that starts with lead generation, evolves into relationship building, and ultimately delivers sales results.
What You’ll Be Doing
Phase 1: Months 0–3 – Build the Database
Research and identify new builders, contractors, and tradies
Add 30+ new leads per month to our CRM (Pipedrive)
Start light outreach via phone and email to seed future conversations
Phase 2: Months 4–6 – Build Relationships
Begin consistent outbound calling (60+ calls/week)
Send introductory quotes and email follow-ups
Develop rapport with 50+ warm leads
Continue database growth
Phase 3: Months 7 onwards – Convert to Orders
Make over100+ outbound calls/week
Issue 20+ quotes per week
Follow up on all quotes until close or disqualification
Win new customers and contribute to the revenue goal
Tools You’ll Use
Pipedrive (CRM) – for lead tracking, follow-ups, and pipeline management
Aircall – cloud-based calling, integrated with CRM
MYOB – for quoting and order processing
Outlook – for all email and scheduling communication
What You Bring
Sales experience in construction, building supplies, or trades
A natural hunter mentality — you enjoy chasing new business
Comfortable and confident on the phone
Friendly, helpful, and relationship-focused
Highly organised with strong follow-up habits
Self-driven with a “find a way” attitude
CRM experience preferred (Pipedrive a bonus)
