We’re on the lookout for a hands-on and driven Team Leader to join our food manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering on key business outcomes around safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement.

You’ll work closely with the Supervisor and lead a small team to ensure daily production runs smoothly and targets are met—without compromising safety or quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive daily operations to meet or exceed safety, quality, and production KPIs

Lead, train, and support team members to build a high-performance culture

Monitor workflow, manage breaks and rosters to maximise efficiency

Complete and oversee accurate labelling and quality documentation

Conduct pre-start checks and ensure machinery and processes are running smoothly

Identify and escalate safety hazards, quality concerns, and machinery issues promptly

Maintain clean and organised workspaces, promoting a strong safety-first mindset

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment

Proven ability to lead, motivate and train staff

Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Good understanding of GMP, food safety, and quality systems

Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and make sound decisions

Self-motivated, dependable, and respectful team player

High School Certificate preferred; GMP training highly regarded
