Are you an experienced Senior Server Engineer (Windows/Microsoft) seeking an opportunity to support critical infrastructure within the Commonwealth government?

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency whose purpose is to help build a better future for all Australians through enabling a productive, resilient and sustainable economy, enriched by science and technology.

This role offers the chance to contribute to the department's ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems, troubleshooting, and escalation/major incident resolution within the Infrastructure Services team. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and business as usual processes (BAU) and contributing to project work, playing a crucial role in maintaining critical government ICT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems and associated technologies
• Conduct troubleshooting and escalation/major incident resolution activities
• Manage day-to-day operations and business as usual processes within Infrastructure Services
• Implement and maintain systems monitoring and patching using Microsoft System Centre products
• Apply cyber security tools and methodologies to ensure system integrity
• Contribute to the delivery of various ICT projects across the Division

Key Experience and Skills:

• Detailed Windows Server experience including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File and Print, DFS and GPO with AGPM.
• Experience with systems monitoring and patching in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune (SCOM, SCCM/MECM)
• Understanding of cyber security tools including application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanners and device control
• Experience managing Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers and template deployment
