Our client, a secure and very well-funded Federal Government entity is seeking a Senior Server Engineer for a long 12 + 12 + 12 Month Contract.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate/s will be responsible for day-to-day operations and business as usual processes (BAU) within the Infrastructure Services team.
• Specifically, the role will contribute to the department’s ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems, troubleshooting, and escalation/ major incident resolution.

Technical skills:

• Detailed Windows Server understanding and experience including Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File and Print, DFS and GPO with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
• Experience with systems monitoring and patching in Microsoft System Centre products and Intune (SCOM, SCCM/MECM)
• Understanding of Cyber Security tools and methodologies including application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanners and device control
• Experience managing Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) servers including template deployment, user and resource administration
